Your reader account
Registration uses a username, an email address and a password. Your account lets you join the comments. Your username and comments may be publicly visible; your email address is not displayed on your public profile.
The site uses WordPress for accounts and login, and wpDiscuz for discussions. Cookies are used, among other things, to keep you logged in.
Your reading progress
Le chapitre et la page mémorisés sont enregistrés localement dans ton navigateur. Si tu es connecté, le chapitre et la page sont aussi enregistrés dans ton compte pour reprendre sur tes autres appareils. Les parcours français et anglais restent distincts. Tu peux l’effacer avec « Effacer ma progression » ou en supprimant les données du site dans ton navigateur.
Comments
Avoid posting personal information in comments. Discussions may be moderated. The site's tools may also process technical information, such as IP addresses, to operate and moderate discussions.

Profile picture
La photo ajoutée depuis ton profil est stockée sur Yorokobi Stars et affichée publiquement avec tes commentaires. Elle est recadrée et réduite pour l’affichage. Tu peux la remplacer ou la retirer à tout moment depuis ton profil. Ton adresse e-mail reste privée. Sans connexion, la progression reste dans ce navigateur. Avec connexion, elle est synchronisée avec ton compte. Effacer la progression connecté la retire aussi du compte ; un appareil hors ligne se met à jour à sa prochaine connexion.
News, notifications and polls
Chapter release alerts and blog posts by email are optional, with two separate choices turned off by default. You can change these choices in your profile or unsubscribe from any email. The site stores the date and source of your latest choice. Messages are sent to your account's email address using Yorokobi Stars' email service.
Polls and questionnaires require a logged-in account and allow one final submission per account. Participation records and answers are stored separately, without a linking key, individual timestamp, IP address or account ID in the answers. Results are available only after closing and with at least five participants, including for administrators. Written answers remain private and are displayed separately for each question. Do not identify yourself in a written answer: its contents may reveal who you are. This separation does not guarantee absolute anonymity from the hosting operator, technical logs or identifiable content. Deleting an account removes its participation record and delivery history; the separated answers cannot be located by account and remain in the results. Email delivery logs are kept for 90 days.
Request account deletion
Email contact@yorokobistars.com from the address linked to your reader account, with the subject “Account deletion” and your public username. Never send your password. Your identity will be checked before deletion. Tell us whether you also want your public comments removed.
You can stop notification emails without deleting your account: change your profile preferences or use the unsubscribe link in an email. Questionnaire responses stored separately from accounts cannot be identified through your account.
